‘These people will pay’: Outrage from Trump loyalists on Capitol Hill
Yes. These NYC citizens seem to want someone who is guilty of a crime to be indicted. How dare they?
Don't they realise that Trump is above the law?

Trump blames the left as he’s indicted on ‘30+ charges’ in porn star hush money case
Yes, the "left" believe that people who commit crimes should be indicted and, if proven, punished. What does the "right" believe?

Kevin McCarthy on whether he will support gun control laws: ‘We want to see all the facts’
The facts are that the donors to campaign funds don't want them passed and to heck with what the American people want. Killing kids is a price the donors are willing to pay. Perhaps McCarthy thinks the rice is worth paying too.

Child asylum seekers will be forcibly restrained if they ‘resist’ deportation, Home Office says
That is outrageous. The kids should do whatever it is they want to do and the government should nave no input into the situation at all. If they want to stay, they should be allowed to stay wherever they want, regardless of the cost to the taxpayer.

Florida Bill Would Shield DeSantis’s Travel Records
A bill advanced by state legislators would exempt the governor, as well as other officials, their families and staff members, from having records of their trips released to the public.
Yes, It is none of the public's business what their legislators get up to.
We want to hide what they do, and they do have plenty to hide.

College Sports Are a Treasure. Don’t Turn Them Into the Minor Leagues.
Very easily solved.
Just pay NCAA officials, coaches and support staff the same wages you pay the athletes

School principal fired for showing Michelangelo’s David in class

Absolutely. We can't have art that glorifies the human body.

The MAGAts think that kids should be ashamed of their bodies.

If a picture showed a naked fetus that would also be pornographic.

‘I’m not a liar I’m just really thick’ insists Boris
“You can’t really blame me for attending those parties, because I’m actually really stupid and didn’t know I was having parties. I mean, if someone doesn’t tell you that you’re at a party, how do you even know if you’re at a party? “

Gringotts Bank Fails Due To Unsustainable Business Model
(Hoarding Customers' Gold In A Giant Cavern Protected By a Dragon)
The bank pioneered the risky business model of taking customers' gold and sticking it into vaults, failing to invest it in safe commodities or stocks in order to yield a return on interest, and then spending tons of money to guard it in an extremely expensive and convoluted system of caverns and rails. But, after 549 years in business, it proved to be an untenable way of doing business.

Trump and DeSantis Could Both Lose
‘tis a consummation devoutly to be wished.

I’m that ‘obnoxious’ student who studied in Florence. Here’s what I have to say about your outrage
She certainly is a whiner; silly and self-centered.
She hated the Italians, she hated her roommates: was there anything she didn't hate?
She worked in a hostel on the Amalfi Coast the summer before her semester in Florence.
Did she hate that too?

ACU Alleges Religious Discrimination After Glendale School District Terminated Teacher Contract
They say know what God intends about sexual intimacy. How do they know?
It certainly is not in the Bible.
ACU must think it IS god, otherwise why would they speak where god has not?

The only surprise in a boring Budget was a tax break for the rich
The rich, including John Rentoul, BBC presenters, Gary Lineker, football players, rock stars, and movie stars.  Oh, yeah, there are a few doctors.

Wake up, dog owners: Your pet isn’t a cuddly toy. It’s more like a grenade
Yes. People are like that too. I guess you should cross the street if another person is walking on the same sidewalk as you.

When it comes to immigration, we all need to choose our words more carefully
Lineker's words were partisan. He is entitled to his opinion (one I agree with) but he should not be on a broadcaster that believes it is non-partisan. Conflict of interest.

Home Office staff accuse Braverman of ‘cowardly attack,’  say small boats plan ‘won’t work’
How many staff? Why haven't they resigned?

Gary Lineker criticised for comparing language used by Braverman to Germany in the 30s
How DARE he have an opinion. If you work for the BBC you are not allowed to have opinions.
Of course, if he had said that Putin was using language not dissimilar to that used by Germany in the 30s, that would have been okay. It is only when you attack the UK that your opinion should not be allowed.

Gary Lineker tweet comparing Tory policy to Nazi Germany as ‘not acceptable and disappointing’
Where in Lineker's comments was Nazi Germany mentioned? Oh you inferred that, Kate Devlin and Adam Forrest? Sounds like editorializing to me.
And, incidentally, he said that Braverman used language that is not dissimilar to that used by Germany in the 30s, he did not say Sunak. Try to get your facts straight, Independent.

Florida Republicans propose bill to remove trans kids from parents’ custody

“Parents have the right to raise their children as they see fit, and government intervention should be a last resort," Senate President Kathleen Passidomo said, except when big government in Tallahassee wants to take that right away.  As Senate President, it is my absolute right to dictate to people how their children should be raised.

Chris Rock questions Meghan Markle’s ‘racism claims’ against royal family
‘That’s not racist, because even Black people want to know how brown the baby going to be.
I don't think Chris Rock understands.   If a black person (or anyone of color) wants to know how brown the baby going to be, that is okay.  It is only white people (including Harry) wonder. That is racist.
The fact that this is, in itself, racist just doesn't matter, because whites are always racist no matter what.

Former PM says he will find it ‘very difficult’ to vote for Windsor deal struck by Sunak
Boris bolixed Brexit incredibly, got a worse deal than Terresa May, proved that the UK word could not be trusted, and now wants to torpedo any possible deal.
What does Boris Johnson have against the UK? Why is he trying to do our country down?

‘Massive betrayal’: Matt Hancock hits out at Isabel Oakeshott in WhatsApp leak
Okay, she betrayed a trust for money and the Telegraph wants to sell soap flakes.
Couldn't they concentrate on things that are important today, rather than going back to re-hash a 2020 story that is already under investigation. Particularly annoying is that these whatsapp messages only tell one side of a many sided story.

What were the penalties in the non-disclosure agreement that Oakeshott signed. Moral: never, ever trust a so-called journalist with an agenda.
Perhaps more importantly: what would you have done if you were told it wasn't possible to test all care-home entrants.
PS: How did Hancock send 100,000 whatsapp messages in one day?

Tea and a Photo-Op Put King Charles in Cross Hairs
He had the head of a foreign government to tea. He did the same with Cyril Ramaphosa. Why did that meeting not angry recriminations from critics who viewed it as an improper foray into British politics. Oh. It was because the Von der Leyen did something else when she was it town. Didn't Cyril?
