Thousands of rape victims have been denied justice because of failings by police and prosecutors, the government has admitted. Only 1.6 per cent of rapes recorded by the police are currently prosecuted in England and Wales – the lowest proportion for any crime.

Congress Passes Law To Recognize Juneteenth, The Day Republicans Freed All The Democrats' Slaves
WASHINGTON, D.C.—The Senate has unanimously passed a resolution
to recognize Juneteenth as a federal holiday, commemorating the glorious
day Republicans freed the last of the Democrats' slaves.
"We are so proud to show the world how not-racist we are by
officially recognizing the day the Republicans came charging in to free all our
slaves," said Senate Democrat Chuck Schumer. "Yeah-- we Democrats did
a little 'whoopsie' with that whole slavery thing, but the Republicans
corrected it. Thanks, Republicans!"
During this year's Juneteenth, the nation will gather to
celebrate the American political party that was founded on protecting
human rights of people of all skin colors. Democrats around the country will
write letters of apology and organize celebrations for the vast network of
Christians, Catholics, Quakers, and Republicans who fought and died to end the
scourge of slavery in America.
Congress has also approved the building of a giant elephant
statue in D.C. to honor the party responsible for the freeing of slaves from Democrat
plantations.

Obviously, the ECB doesn't think that Ollie is sorry and ashamed enough and they want to be considered as "woke," so suspending him served two purposes. But what are they "investigating?" Whether he posted the tweets? Or are they going through everything he ever wrote to see if there are any other remarks that can be construed as sexist or racist.
Of course, Chris Stevenson still believes in everything he said and did when he was 19.
Otherwise he would be reported to Thinkpol for thought crime.

The England football team have announced that, following some particularly persuasive booing at the start of the match against Romania on Sunday, they will be reinstituting racism.
For nearly a year now, British football players have taken the knee before kick-off in an effort to highlight racism faced by black players. This small protest has been increasingly greeted with boos from those who wish to remain free to enjoy racism.

There are two possibilities: Either
The ECB doesn't believe Robinson is sorry and ashamed OR
The ECB will punish him so they can prove that they are considered politically correct and woke.
There are no other choices.
If the latter, the only thing the ECB can do is ban him from ALL cricket from now until the end of his life, because we all know that no one can learn from the mistakes they made as stupid kids. It doesn't matter how sorry and ashamed you are, once you did something that make you sorry and ashamed, it is fixed for all time.
Or, do we want to get into an argument of how long a suspension should be: noting that for woke people, absolutely nothing will be enough.
