Gosh, how could we have possibly imagined that pubs would have to close when we banned their best (smoking) customers and increased excise tax on the products they sell during a recession when disposable income is tight.?
What is next is more selfish posturing by representatives, on both sides of the aisle, more interested in winning primaries than in the American people they were elected to serve. Along the way they will threaten recession, default and other ways to punish their constituents if they do not get their way.
