By that definition, everything the king does is political and people SHOULD have objected to President Cyril Ramaphosa of South Africa being the first state visit of the reign of King Charles III. After all, in 2022, Cyril was accused of corruption, obstruction of justice, kidnapping and bribing the burglars into silence.
