Is anyone really surprised by racist remarks at the palace?
Why was Ms Fulani so rude to Ms Hussey? When asked where she was from, she refused to answer, saying only her charity's name. When pressed, she again refused to answer, saying where her charity was based. When pressed again, she again refused to answer. Of course, what Hussey was trying to determine was "where did your native dress come from." Fulani flatly refused to be drawn, insisting that she was British - which Hussey already knew. Now Fulani chooses to be insulted, It seems quite rude
In answer to the original question:
No, were not shocked. We expect institutional racism in all walks of life.
For example; "Sistah Space" is institutionally racist.

The timing of Harry & Meghan’s Netflix trailer is so perfect, it almost seems deliberate
Of course it was deliberate.  Markle wanted the fame and prestige of being a royal without any of the duties and responsibilities or being a royal,  She resents the Royal Family for not giving her that and will do anything to hit them.

Buckingham Palace prepared to ‘work with’ Black charity boss abused by royal aide
Nice for the palace to work with "Sistah Space" even though the charity is institutionally racist
PS:"...a royal was worried about how dark their son Archie’s skin tone might be before he was born." If Meaghen wondered what colour her child would be, is that racist? If Harry wondered what colour his child would be, is that racist?
