Perhaps some of it is because white privilege is a racist term.
At least, unless your 'race theory' can also talk about Jewish privilege, Asian privilege, Black privilege etc.
"Kanoute was determined to have eaten in a deserted dorm that had been closed for the summer; the janitor had been encouraged to notify security if he saw unauthorized people there."
If she were a white, asian or hispanic student, she would have been treated EXACTLY the same.
(This is not to say their is no institutional racism or cultural bias, merely that this incident wasn't that.)
Kanoute defies the rules and then wants special treatment when she does.
She is part of the privileged entitled: rules do not apply to her, only to other people.
She has created a mountain where there wasn't even a mole hill.
