Racism is a form of tribalism – no wonder it flourishes in football
Of course it does. All of Britain is racist: it is part of our culture, whether black, white or brown. It may be inherent. It rears its head in Scots, Welsh and English. It is apparent in Home Counties vs North of the Watford Gap. It shows up in Yorkshire vs Lancashire or Catholic/Protestant/Muslim/Jew. Thinking that racism by colour is any different is mentally lazy: people did not choose to be Scots or English.
