      We have a massive Humanitarian Crisis at our Southern Border. We will be out for a long time unless the Democrats come back from their “vacations” and get back to work. I am in the White House ready to sign!

      Then say you are willing to sign bills that fund the government and worry about border security and your wall AFTER that is done. Or do you just want to punish the Americans who work for you? Lie to them, cheat them, don't pay them: you have nothing but contempt for America.

      Democrats could solve the Shutdown in 15 minutes! Call your Dem Senator or Congresswoman/man. Tell them to get it done! Humanitarian Crisis.

      You could solve the shutdown is 10 minute: just tell Mitch McConnell that you will sign bills authorizing the funding of the agencies that keep us safe and secure

    ....I do have a plan on the Shutdown. But to understand that plan you would have to understand the fact that I won the election, and I promised safety and security for the American people. Part of that promise was a Wall at the Southern Border. Elections have consequences!

    Then WHY didn't you do something when you had a majority in both houses? Yes, the 2016 elections had consequences and your only response is to not pay the border security agents, the coast guard, TSA and air traffic control: making America unsafe and insecure!
