We know that all politicians are liars Does it follow that they are all corrupt?
Good article. The question is "why?" Why do Americans not punish Trump and Republicans for violence?
What deeper fear do they have that lets them forgive this behavior? Is it fear of change, any change? Is it that the Democratic party left the blue collar working class, when they thought it was their base and would fight for them? Is it fear of white privilege being taken away? Is it fear of becoming irrelevant?
PS: When Democrats initiate or threaten violence, is there similar forgiveness?
I think this is the modern version of gratitude.
