- Good for them. About time a teachers' union went on strike over something sensible.

Gosh, what a horrible thing to do- give someone a prize because they are nice. The idiots who complain about this obviously see science and religion as enemies. Silly, really, as science cannot answer a single religious question any more than religion can answer a scientific one.
- Why just creationism? Why not astrology and alchemy? At least teach the controversies. As a Jedi (Britain's 4th largest religion) I think we also need to teach kids about "the force."
- Yep. We can't win on our own. We asked for your protection, but we wanted you to do the fighting for us. As it seems clear you won't do that, you must be bad guys.
- Well, if my kids had fears about going to school, I listened - but I didn't change the requirement that they go to school.
- If the government were liable for torture, we'd have sued them as they doubled government spending over the last 10 years.
- Nice to see the Museum is getting into the Zeitgeist - raise attendance by displaying a fruad. What's next, Muhammed's washcloth? Bhudda's hankie?
