If those who pay (including government) cut corners on the amount they pay to owners, owners must cut corners in their operations or go bankrupt. This is true whether the home is for-profit, non-profit or run by a council or other government agency.
Absolutely! We should keep our hands off the banks and let them get on with their business they see best. That worked so well for us all in the previous decade.
It's a cultural misunderstanding: b*******d is not a swear-word in Australian. More often than not, it is used as a term of affection.
Basic rule, one that seems to have been forgotten for a decade or two: If you can't afford it, don't do it.
About time this dole blodger left - he has been taking the Queen's shilling whilst doing no work for far too long.
How much do they make now?
Doesn't always work. My wife does most of these things (except the curtain) and I haven't killed her even once.
