Kennedy and the Soviets
Forbes has a piece on an old Russian memo about Teddy Kennedy.

It seems either a failed attempt by Kennedy, an unauthorised dream of Tunney's, a CIA tempt-feeler or a nice bit of disinformation by Andropov & Co. Don't suppose we will ever know for certain, but I suspect each reader will choose based on their prior opinion of the man.
Teddy: self-aggrandising, cowardly and irresponsible - yet totally committed to public service and doing quite a lot of good along with some real evil. A man to hate for some; a man to love for others. Humans are so annoyingly complex. Wouldn't life be easier if we were all either Hitler or Ghandi?
