They will wait a long, long time. We, the electorate­, have taught politician­s that if they tell the truth and talk one adult to another, we will not vote for them. We will vote for the other guy who tells us comforting lies about himself and evil lies about his opponent.

“No, Virginia, there is no such thing as safe power, of whatever kind.
As many have pointed out in their comments below: although nuclear power is not safe, it is much safer than gas, oil or coal.
