Bending the rules on ethnic casting
Oh dear, there went Andy Garcia's exquisite portrayal of young an Italian cop in the Untouchables, along with a myriad of other great Hispanic actors playing any Anglo parts (Rita Hayworth, Antony Quinn - 'bye Zorba the Greek), there went blacks playing any role in Shakespeare except Othello. I really don't think we should want to go there.
Or is it only "caucasians" that should be limited, as Vina suggests? Isn't that just a tad, well, er, racist?
